World-renowned pianist Lola Astanova has released her long-awaited music video, filmed last June at the Skywalk viewpoint in the Biokovo Nature Park. Scenes for the piano version of the song “Clocks” by the British band Coldplay were shot at the initiative of Feliks Lukas, director of the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar. Last year, as a guest of the tournament, she delighted the audience by performing at the finals after an exciting match.
“When we suggested to Lola to shoot the video in Makarska, we were sure that Skywalk was an excellent location. As our dear guest at last year’s tournament, we took her there, and there were no doubts anymore. She was thrilled with the beautiful view of the Dalmatian archipelago and the energy of that unique location,” emphasized Feliks Lukas, adding that one of the tournament’s goals is to promote Makarska to the world.
The perfect combination of the mighty mountains and the sea, the impressive Skywalk where Lola Astanova demonstrates the greatness of her talent… leaves one breathless and is definitely the best promotion of Makarska and Croatia in the world.
Lola’s videos on YouTube have over 15 million views, and according to the first comments, her fans are thrilled.
“Lola, what a great location for the video! Brilliant performance, fantastic nature! You’re wonderful, the music is soft and gentle, the place is paradise,” write fans of her music.
Lola Astanova’s music video is the most beautiful announcement of the 18th edition of the WTA Makarska Open, which takes place from June 3rd to 9th. Well-known names in women’s tennis will once again play in Makarska, which – largely thanks to this tennis tournament – this year also earned the title of European City of Sports.
